[Postponed] 7 October Webinar: Prospects for India-China Relations

7 October 2020

[Postponed] Unfortunately the webinar "Prospects for India-China Relations" with Brahmin Chellaney planned for Wednesday 7 October has been postponed to a later date. We will communicate the new date as soon as available. Current registrations will remain valid for the postponed event.

The EU-Asia Centre invites you to a discussion with Professor Brahma Chellaney on the future of India-China relations.

The recent border clashes between the two Asian nuclear powers raised global concern. Why did the clashes occur and what are the implications? How to further develop economic relations between Delhi and Beijing in the face of political and strategic tensions? Will these tensions cause India to focus more on relations with the EU – as well as the US, Japan, Australia (the Indo-Pacific strategy)?

Professor Chellaney holds the chair in Strategic Studies at the New Delhi-based Centre for Policy Research and is a Fellow with the Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin. He has held many other academic positions, is a prolific columnist and author with nine books to his name. He was also an adviser to India’s National Security Council.
